Although regular participation in sports activities or exercise can increase the likelihood of any kind of injury, there are certain injuries which are more common in particular sports. This has led to the coining of injury phrases such as ‘tennis elbow’ or ‘runner’s knee.’ Below is a list of sports and physical activities and the injuries which are most commonly incurred by their participants.
