How can I make sure the same thing doesn’t happen again?
As part of the treatment programme set out and administered within chiropractic therapy, patients will be taught how to take care of their body in order to minimize the chances of a repeat injury. A specific programme of exercises is developed to be conducted within the home. These exercises are tailored by the chiropractor to fit the specific needs of the patient. In some cases, chiropractors will offer supervised training, particularly for patients with persistent back or neck conditions.
Chiropractors also try to make sure that the same injuries do not continually reoccur by discussing the problem with the specific patient. From here, they will look to identify and isolate any particular activities that are exposing the patient to undue strain or stress that may be linked to their condition.
